Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. has franchised The Property Shoppe real estate company in Batesville. The Property Shoppe, becomes the eighth Weichert franchised office in the state of Arkansas and the first in Independence County.
Terms of the deal were not released.
It will be rebranded to Weichert Realtors – The Property Shoppe. It will be owned and operated by husband and wife, Bill and Hayes Olson, who have nearly 35 combined years of experience in the real estate industry.
“We are very excited to join the Weichert family,” Bill and Hayes Olson said in a joint statement. “With the backing of a national brand, we hope to continue helping clients from around the country find their permanent homes in North Central Arkansas and build on our strong reputation as ambassadors for our beautiful region.”
As part of the Weichert franchise network, the team at Weichert Realtors – The Property Shoppe has access to training programs, the latest technology, and sales and marketing tools in the industry to help provide clients real estate services.
“One of the biggest reasons we wanted to partner with Weichert was to take advantage of the organization’s industry-leading technology, tools, and resources made available to our leadership team and our agents,” the Olsons added. “Providing everyone on our team access to innovative technology and resources will certainly help them offer our clients the best service in the region.”
The Property Shoppe first opened its doors in 1980 and is one of the oldest surviving real estate companies in Batesville. Bill and Hayes Olson joined the brokerage as agents nearly two decades ago before purchasing the company in 2006.
The Olsons are extremely active in the local real estate scene and in community endeavors. Bill and Hayes have each served as president of the Batesville Board of REALTORS and as members of state committees for the Arkansas REALTORS Association. In 2017, Bill received recognition as the Arkansas REALTOR of the Year.
