The University of Arkansas at Little Rock will not raise tuition and fees for the 2022-23 school year.

The measure was approved during the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas meeting held May 25-26 at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville.

It’s the third year in a row the university will hold the line on tuition and fees.

The average cost of tuition and fees at UA Little Rock for one academic year is $9,528.60. This is the estimated average for a resident student who takes 15 credit hours a semester.

“For many families, the cost of education can be a barrier to entry,” said UALR Chancellor Christina Drale. “Improving access, with a focus on affordability, remains a top institutional priority for UA Little Rock.”

“In addition to keeping the sticker-price cost of tuition flat, UA Little Rock continues to lower the net price – the price students actually pay to enroll – by matching students with internal and external scholarships that consider the student’s academic merit and financial need,” said Cody Decker, vice chancellor of student affairs and chief data officer.”
