Sarah Sanders’ $4.2 million fundraising haul leads Q2 reports

GOP gubernatorial candidate Sarah Huckabee Sanders outpaced all fundraising combined by her Republican and Democratic rivals for Arkansas governor in the second quarter reports filed Thursday (July 15). With more than $4.2 million raised, Sanders has collected more than $9.1 million in total for the 2022 governor’s race.

During the second quarter reports, which cover money raised from April 1 through June 30, 2021, the breakdown among candidates for three major races – Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General – were as follows. All totals include money raised for primary and general races:
