Marcotte named Golden Living Site Administrator
Belinda Marcotte, Golden Living senior vice president, controller, treasurer, and chief accounting officer, has been named Site Administrator for the Golden Living Administrative Center in Fort Smith. In this role, Marcotte will be the senior executive in charge of the Fort Smith office.
Golden Living also created a local Administrative Oversight Committee responsible for managing the operations of the Fort Smith Administrative Center. Marcotte is the chair of this committee. The 11-member committee, composed of senior-level Fort Smith employees, will provide leadership to facilitate decision-making and communication to ensure an efficient and safe working environment.
“As the Golden Living Administrative Center in Fort Smith expands and continues to increase in importance for our company, the Administrative Oversight Committee, under Belinda’s direction, will play a key leadership role for our Fort Smith employees as they deliver world-class support to our direct caregivers and others in the field,” Dr. Neil Kurtz, president and CEO of Golden Living, said in the statement.
Responsibilities of the Committee include making fiscal decisions regarding the Fort Smith office, making hiring decisions, and reviewing proposals for changes to policies. The Committee also will be responsible for fostering and promoting Golden Living’s involvement with the Fort Smith community through partnerships with local organizations.
Marcotte has worked for Golden Living since 1978, and has lived in Fort Smith for 17 years. As senior vice president, controller, treasurer, and chief accounting officer, she is responsible for all the accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and reimbursement functions of the company.
Marcotte earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration-accounting at Louisiana State University-Monroe, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also is a Certified Public Accountant.
