Delta Dental Adds 3 To Board
Ed Choate, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Arkansas, announced today the addition of three new members to the Delta Dental of Arkansas Board of Directors. The new Board members are Dr. Troy Bartels of Jonesboro, Wayne Callahan of Rogers and Sarah Clark of Fayetteville.
Bartels is a practicing dentist in Jonesboro. He attended Arkansas State University and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS degree. In 1998, he completed an Advanced General Dentistry residency and entered into private practice.
Callahan is the president of Global Walmart Business for H.J. Heinz Company. He manages organizational design, business planning, team development, resource allocation and overall retailer growth. He leads teams that serve Walmart across 27 countries. He is a member of the Heinz President Council and the Heinz Global Sales Council, where he supervises customer business planning and best practice sharing for Heinz’s largest global retail customers such as Walmart, Tesco and Carrefour. Callahan is also a director of the H.J. Heinz Company joint venture in Paarl, South Africa. Prior to joining Heinz, Callahan enjoyed a 20-year career with S.C. Johnson Wax and was responsible for creating the first S.C. Johnson – Walmart customer business team in 1991. He currently serves as a director of Arvest Bank Benton County, chairman of the board for the Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas and president of the Arkansas State Golf Association. Callahan also served as the past chairman of the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce.
Clark is the executive vice president and chief strategy officer for Mitchell Communications Group. Clark leads all client service areas and serves on the agency’s executive committee. Her team’s portfolio of clients includes Walmart, Sam’s Club, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Tyson Foods, Procter & Gamble, J.B. Hunt, Southwestern Energy and more. Prior to joining Mitchell Communications Group, Clark was a senior member of the Walmart corporate communications team and an officer for the company.
