Former Up With People CEO headlines annual Chamber event in Rogers

A The New York Times best-selling author and former CEO of a renowned global leadership organization will headline the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce’s signature annual event.

Tommy Spaulding will deliver the keynote address at the 98th annual Celebration of Business & Community. Spaulding is based in the Denver metro and is president of Tommy Spaulding Cos., an international leadership development, training and executive coaching organization. He has written two The New York Times best-selling books, “The Heart-Led Leader” and “It’s Not Just Who You Know.” His third book, “80,000: the Power of Positive Influence,” will be released by Penguin Random House in February 2021.

In 2005, Spaulding was named the youngest president and CEO of the world-renowned global leadership organization Up with People. Previously, he was the business partner sales manager for IBM/ Lotus and a member of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program.

In 2000, Spaulding founded the Spaulding Leadership Institute, which runs the National Leadership Academy, a national youth leadership development organization.
