Scot Davis, CEO of Arkansas Urology in Little Rock, has been elected to LUGPA’s board of directors. Founded in 2008, LUGPA is the only nonprofit urology trade association in the U.S.

“Serving as CEO of a urology practice has allowed me to witness firsthand the unmatched passion of our independent physicians,” Davis said in a statement. “I now, more than ever, am dedicated to furthering, protecting and defending independent urologists and I believe I can honor that commitment through my service on the LUGPA Board of Directors.”

Davis joined Arkansas Urology as CEO in May 2013. Before that, he was CFO of Baptist Medical Group and CFO of Northeast Arkansas Clinic in Jonesboro. Davis is also a member of the Arkansas Medical Group Management Association and the American Medical Group Association.

Davis received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Memphis State University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Christian Brothers University. Davis has over 25 years of physician practice management experience with expertise in operational efficiency, physician recruitment, joint venture arrangements and compensation modeling.
