Summit Medical Center opens a new clinic
Summit Medical Center in Van Buren is opening an occupational medicine clinic located on the campus of the hospital. The Full Service Occupational Medicine Clinic is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health of workers, according to a statement from Summit.
Jeannie Finley, an advanced practice nurse, will conduct pre-employment physicals and drug testing as well as employee physicals, vision and hearing testing, workers’ compensation and annual employee testing.
The clinic is in partnership with the Sparks Health System and the two occupational medicine clinics already open in Fort Smith.
“The addition of occupational medicine in Crawford County is a great plus for local companies and businesses. Now employers can send their staff members close by to get services such as physicals and drug screenings,” said Summit CEO Pam Tahan.
