Car-Mart opens dealership in Conway, second opening in fiscal 2020
America’s Car-Mart Inc. announced Thursday (July 25) the opening of a new dealership in Conway. It will be the company’s 37th dealership in Arkansas.
The Bentonville-based buy here, pay here used car dealer recently opened a new dealership in Bryant. The opening of the Conway dealership is the second dealership the company has opened since the start of fiscal 2020, which began May 1. The dealership will be managed by Matthew Heiderscheidt, with the assistance of Amanda Forrester. It will be the third dealership managed by Heiderscheidt. Car-Mart has continued to open new dealerships with managers who already manage others as the company focuses on growth.
“A great deal of thought and foresight is placed on our decisions about where to grow,” President and CEO Jeff Williams said. “We select communities where we believe we can fill a void when it comes to what we offer at Car-Mart. Our goal is to deliver service, convenience, dependability and peace of mind when a customer purchases one of our vehicles. We strive to earn the repeat business of our customers by helping them after the sale and over the course of time.”
The new dealership at 2740 Dave Ward Drive will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It will be closed Sundays.
“We’re excited about the expansion in the Conway market,” Heiderscheidt said. “At Car-Mart, we offer a unique buying process for our customers where it’s not just a purchase but an experience. We get to know our customers and work closely with them on flexible financing.”
Customers can shop the company’s website or be pre-approved online. Car-Mart had 144 dealerships at the end of fiscal 2019, and has sold nearly 650,000 vehicles over the past 20 years.
Shares of Car-Mart (NASDAQ: CRMT) were trading Thursday morning at $89.01, up $1.00, or 1.13%. In the past 52 weeks, shares of the company have ranged between $104.05 and $62.42.
