Stone Bank is creating a new lending division for home loans and has hired mortgage industry veteran Jason Hornsby of Pine Bluff to head up the new division.

A Pine Bluff native, Hornsby has 18 years of mortgage lending experience, most recently with Top Flight Financial and National Bank of Arkansas. He has experience as a wholesale broker of mortgage loans as well as expertise in the FHA, VA, conventional and reverse mortgage areas.

“Our Stone Bank Home Loan division, headed by industry professional Jason Hornsby, will allow our bank to continue its profitability and growth plans by supplementing our fast-growing government-guaranteed lending program which is originating millions of dollars of loans in Arkansas and around the country,” said Marnie Oldner, Stone Bank CEO.

“This will also provide a new alternative for customers of our full-service community banking centers in Mountain View, White Hall, Little Rock, and Harrison,” Oldner added.

Chartered in Mountain View, Stone Bank is a $375 million bank which also has an agri loan production office in Cave City.
