Capital Bank receives approval to change name to Encore Bank

Little Rock-based Capital Bank has been approved by the Arkansas State Bank Department to change its name to Encore Bank.

Intention for the bank’s rebranding was disclosed when new leadership took over the bank last month. The name change and rebranding is scheduled
for May.

The Capital Bank opened in 1997 and has assets of $174 million and offers a comprehensive line of banking products for individuals, businesses and the public sector.
