Romney Coming To Arkansas For High-dollar Fundraisers

GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be in Little Rock on Wednesday, Aug. 22 for a high-dollar private dinner and several receptions.

According to an invitation sent to prospective contributors and participants, Romney will hold three receptions at the Peabody Hotel on Wednesday afternoon. The price range of the reception fundraisers are $25,000 per couple, $10,000 per couple and $2,500 per person.

Later, a private dinner will be held at the Capital Hotel with a request to contribute or raise $50,000 per couple.

Notable names on the Romney fundraiser invitation include his 3 state finance co-chairs, Warren Stephens, Claiborne Deming and John Tyson. Also, Sen. John Boozman and Congressmen Rick Crawford, Tim Griffin and Steve Womack will be special guests.

Other high-profile chairs and co-chairs of the event include Curt Bradbury, George Gleason, Madison Murphy, Lisenne Rockefeller, Tom Schueck, John Allison, John Ed Anthony and French Hill.

The money from the fundraiser would be segmented. According t

o the invitation, the breakout would occur as follows:

Contributions to Romney Victory, Inc. (“RV”) are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.  RV is a joint fundraising committee composed of Romney for President, Inc. (“RFP”), the Republican National Committee (“RNC”), the official Republican Parties in four states (the Idaho Republican Party, the Massachusetts Republican Party, the Oklahoma Leadership Council, and the Vermont Republican Federal Election Committee), the National Republican Senatorial Committee (“NRSC”), and the National Republican Congressional Committee (“NRCC”).

However, contributions solicited by this invitation will be deposited into the accounts of Romney for President, Inc., the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and the National Republican Congressional Committee only.

This invitation does not solicit funds for the four state Republican parties.
