Registration Day for the spring semester at Arkansas State University will be Tuesday (Nov. 13) starting at 10 a.m. in the main computer lab on the first floor of the Dean B. Ellis Library.

The registration is part of the Chancellor’s Commission on Completion’s ramped-up initiatives to assist students and improve retention, according to ASU. Students are encouraged to complete the registration process before the fall break later this month, or at least by the end of the fall semester.

Advisors from all colleges – Agriculture, Griffin College of Business, Engineering and Computer Science, Liberal Arts and Communication, Nursing and Health Professions, and Sciences and Mathematics – will be present to assist students with advising.

Representatives from the offices of Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions, Records and Registration will also be on site to assist students with the final steps for getting enrolled for spring semester 2019.

Arkansas State reported 1,565 first-time first-year students this fall, up 9.7% from 1,426 in 2017. Included in this year’s freshman numbers are 50 international students, a 51% increase over last year (33 up to 50).

ASU had an overall enrollment head count of 14,058, which includes students at the Jonesboro campus as well as the students enrolled at Campus Queretaro in Mexico (349 students), marking the third consecutive year with enrollment over 14,000.
