27 elected posts in Crawford County without candidates

There are only four days left in the filing period for Crawford County municipal elections and still 27 positions remain without a candidate.

No one has filed in mayoral races in Rudy and Kibler. Van Buren Mayor Bob Freeman has not filed; however, he has announced his run in the November election against newcomer Max Blake. The Crawford County Clerk’s office expects filings to pick up on Monday as the Aug. 24 deadline approaches.
