After $2.4 million land deal, Rock City Harley-Davidson plans move to Gateway Town Center

A $2.4 million land purchase has set in motion a new tenant for the Gateway Town Center at the intersection of Interstate 430/Interstate 30 interchange in Little Rock.

Riverbike of Arkansas LLC, parent company of Rock City Harley-Davidson, has closed on a $2.4 million land purchase in the Gateway Town Center. The 5.5-acre site is near Dave & Buster’s and has frontage to Interstate 430.

The ownership group plans to relocate Rock City Harley-Davidson from its current location at 10210 Interstate 30 to the new site once construction is complete in late 2018. The new dealership is expected to be approximately 40,000 square feet.

Riverbike of Arkansas LLC is a part of the Hickingbotham Investments Inc. group of Little Rock, which has 10 Harley-Davidson locations in Arkansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma.

Rock City Harley-Davidson and its satellite location in Conway, Toad Suck Harley-Davidson, offer new and pre-owned motorcycle sales, service, parts and financing, along with official Harley-Davidson apparel and merchandise. In addition, the dealership offers the Harley-Davidson Riding Academy, a motorcycle training course for new owners.

“We are excited to be a part of Gateway Town Center,” Gene Whisenhunt, president and chief operating officer of Hickingbotham Investments, said in a statement. “We are committed to offering our customers the complete Harley-Davidson experience and this location and the new facility will allow us to better serve our customers in Arkansas.”

Gateway Town Center is home to numerous popular retail attractions including Bass Pro Shops, the Outlets of Little Rock, the soon-to-be-open Movie Tavern, Dave & Buster’s and several other retailers and restaurants.

Mason Lewis and Isaac Smith of Colliers International Arkansas represented both parties in the land sale.

Gateway Otter LLC, a Colliers-led investment group, was the seller.
