Springdale-based Harps Food Stores has partnered with DoorDash to handle on-demand grocery delivery from its 140 stores across six states. Texas-based Brookshire Grocery, FreshDirect and Market of Choice grocery stores are also part of the announcement.
“We’re thrilled to add these new grocers to DoorDash so local shoppers can enjoy on-demand access to the neighborhood staples they know and love,” said Charles Shorter, head of grocery partnerships at DoorDash. “We hear from our customers all the time that they are always looking for more selection on DoorDash. Bringing these grocers onto the DoorDash Marketplace is a true win-win. We can meet greater customer demand and drive sales back into the local economy.”
DoorDash has continued to build momentum in the grocery delivery area. In 2025, DoorDash became a leading third-party marketplace in the U.S. grocery and retail sectors by order volume, the company said. DoorDash said it also has one of the highest shares among consumers who are new to online grocery shopping.
Harps customers who want to take advantage of $0 deliveries will need to have a DashPass membership from DoorDash, which costs $9.99 or $96 annually. The membership also provides 5% back on eligible pickup orders and member-exclusive deals. There are other membership promotions available on the DoorDash website. A typical delivery charge without a pass or promotion costs between $3.99 to $5.99 for non-members.
Harps also partnered with Instacart since November 2018 with a similar program.
