Pearl Ann Taylor

Pearl Ann Taylor, 78, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in her home. She was born January 23, 1947 in Maryville, Tennessee to Johnny and Pauline (Adkins) Johnson. She was retired after 25 years from the Mulberry School System, serving as the Food Service Director. She was a member and very involved with the Vine Prairie Baptist Church in Mulberry.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy Taylor; one son, Buddy Ray Taylor and wife, Amy; two daughters, Tammi Benham and husband, Grant and Pamela Moore and husband, Kendall; one sister, Brenda Cook; six grandchildren, Nick Greenfield, Kaylea Reeves, Jacob Edge, Caleb Edge, Marissa Morris and Joshua Moore and five great grandchildren, Lula Mae Reeves, River Jade Edge, Silas Jack Edge, Emma Grace Harrison and Adeline Maxine Morris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Lynn Johnson.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 9 at Old Union Cemetery, 8700 Old Union Rd. in Hackett, Arkansas under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Pallbearers will be Nick Greenfield, Anthony Reeves, Josh Moore, Derrick Morris, Brian Taylor and Keith Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Joel Davis, Jeff Coleman, Jack Coleman, Caleb Edge, Jacob Edge and Eric Cowell.
