Patricia Mae Slaughter

Patricia Mae Slaughter, 89, of Van Buren passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026. She was born in Ada, OK on June 12, 1936, to the late Ray and Genavive (Heslar) McCurley. She retired from Area Agency on Aging as an office manager. She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Dale Slaughter; and a son, Mark Slaughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Weickgenant and husband Matt of Alma; two sons, David Slaughter and wife Stacey of Muldrow and Steve Slaughter of Greenwood; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Graveside memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 12, 2026, at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.
