Mary Ann Womack, lovingly known to all as “Mema,” passed from this life on January 9, 2026, in her home, and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mema was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family deeply. Nothing brought her more joy than her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her faith was central to her life, and she was a faithful member of Farmington First Baptist Church. She enjoyed working part-time at The Flying Hog in Springdale. Mema will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and her unwavering faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Blanche Cox; her husband, Homer Womack; and her four brothers, Kenneth, Raymond, Thomas, and Richard Cox.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Lee Womack and wife, Angela Womack of Rogers, Billy Lee Womack, Kenny Womack; her grandchildren, Brandon Womack and wife, Grace, Hannah Wilke and husband, Austin, Sarah Jane Womack, Brittany McCall and husband, Ryan, Karen Schweitzer and husband, William, David Zeledon, Diana Zeledon and Ruben Brenes; 15 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, who brought her immense joy, Barry Womack, Princeton Womack, Charlotte Wilke, Parker Wilke, Walker Wilke, Maggie Jo Wilke, Mabel Wilke, Sage Mendoza, Dante Mendoza, Ameera Mendoza, Eli McCall, Aiden McCall, Kayson Schweitzer, Wren Schweitzer, and Rhys Schweitzer. She is also survived by her two sisters, Kathy Wood and Joan Franklin of Booneville, and her brother, Jerre Cox of Waldron, along with several nieces and nephews, many dear friends, and beloved church family members who loved her very much.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 13 at West Harmony Cemetery in Hartford under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 4 – 7 p.m.
