DeEvelyn Ray Bell, better known as Lynn, died Thursday, January 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 11, 1979, in Fort Worth Texas. She was 46 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Bell, II; a sister, Dayla Austin; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Doris Melton; and the daddy that raised her, David Parks.

Lynn loved her family very much and they were her number one thing in life. She was a very loving and caring daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. She was a stay at home wife and mother and enjoyed doing crafts with her granddaughters. She would help any child that she could, had a listening ear, and always there with love and support. She loved her pets, especially her dog, Raschal, that passed away 2 years ago. Lynn could be a little firecracker if you messed with her loved ones, especially her mom, children, and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lynn’s favorite saying was “It’s not just blood that makes you family, love does.”

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 9th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
