Burl Jay Majors, 70, of Van Buren, AR passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025 in his home. He was born in Kokomo, IN on August 27, 1955. Burl was an Ink Master for Sun Chemical and enjoyed hunting, golfing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Most people would remember him by his caring, comical, and witty personality. He was preceded in death by his father, Burl Majors and a sister, Deborah Majors-Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife, Renee of the home; three daughters, Brittany Oakley and wife Melissa, Clara Jenkins and husband Jacob all of Van Buren and Kayla Majors and husband Chris Melton of Allen, TX; a son, Dillon Majors of Fayetteville, AR; two sisters, Marsha Finch and husband Jack, Lil Phillips and husband Larry all of Greers Ferry, AR; a brother, Ronny Majors and wife Sherry of Greers Ferry, AR; his mother, Lou Majors of Greers Ferry, AR; his grandchildren, Bridget, Lauren, Olivia, Jayde, Callen and one on the way.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M Thursday January 1, 2026 at Ocker Memorial Chapel Van Buren with burial to follow on Friday January 2, 2026 at 12 Noon at Shiloh Crossroads church and cemetery in Higden, AR.
Pallbearers will be Dillon Majors, Jacob Jenkins, Chris Melton, Ronny Majors, Larry Phillips and Jack Finch.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Donny Webb, Hau Lieu, Odell Kimes and Mike Vongvone.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 4-6 P.M. on Wednesday December 31, 2025 at Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren, 700 Jefferson St.
