Williamson Insurance sells to Inszone

Inszone Insurance Services, a national provider of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance, has acquired Mark V. Williamson Co., Inc., also known as Williamson Insurance, an independent agency based in Little Rock. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1974 by Mark Williamson, Williamson Insurance has been in business for more than five decades. Mark S. Williamson joined the agency as a producer in 1988, continuing the family legacy and playing a role in the agency’s growth.
Over the years, Williamson Insurance expanded its ownership and leadership team. Bill Fletcher joined the agency in 2001 after a career as a commercial loan officer, bringing banking relationships and business insight to the firm. When evaluating future growth and succession planning, the leadership team recognized the need for a strategic partner.

Founded in 2002, Sacramento, Calif.-based Inszone Insurance Services is a full-service insurance brokerage firm offering a wide range of property and casualty and employee benefits solutions.

Williamson Insurance will continue operating from its Little Rock location with its existing team in place, while gaining access to Inszone’s expanded resources, technology, and carrier relationships.
Inszone Insurance Services has operations in 22 states and said it is looking to further expand.
