Shirley Jo Blythe

Shirley Jo Blythe, 82, of Rudy, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 at her home. She was born June 7, 1943 in Massard, Arkansas to the late Joseph and Mary (Herriman) Nelson.

She is survived by her husband, James N. Blythe, Sr. of Rudy; two daughters, Rhonda McMahon of Van Buen, and Holly Adams of Rudy; a son, James Nelson Blythe, Jr. of Yellville; three sisters, Martha Graham of El Paso, Mary Sue Woolever of Cedarville; and Norma Jean Vera of Dallas; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. There are no services scheduled at this time.
