Sharon Nancy Wilmoth

Sharon Nancy Wilmoth, 81, of Fort Smith, went to be in the arms of Jesus on November 30, 2025. She was born February 6, 1944 in Clarksville, AR. She retired after 18 years, working as a Home Health Aide. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith.

Her legacy was her role as a mother. She poured her heart into her family. To her grandchildren, she was “Nana”. She enjoyed going out to eat and working outside in her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Houston and mother, Flora McKenzie of Clarksville, AR; and a daughter, Alisha Garner of North Carolina.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Wilmoth of Fort Smith; her brother, Bob Houston and wife Monta of Springdale; and 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Home, located at 201 North 12th Street, Fort Smith, AR, on December 10, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at First Baptist Church, Fort Smith, AR, on December 11, 2025, starting at 10:00 am.

A graveside service will follow at Habberton (Mt. Vernon) Cemetery in Goshen, AR, on December 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
