Martha Jane Watkins

Martha Jane Watkins, 85, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on Monday December 22, 2025 at her daughter’s home. She was a former resident of Mulberry and of The Church of Christ faith. Martha was born March 5, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas to the late Amos and Nora (Barton) Trigg. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years before his passing, Leonard Watkins and two brothers, Ryan Trigg and George Leon Trigg.

Martha was a homemaker that loved family gatherings which lead to her love of genealogy. She also loved to crochet for her family.

Funeral service will be 9:30 AM Friday, January 9, 2026 at Ocker Chapel with interment to follow at the US National Cemetery in Fort Smith where she will be laid to rest by her husband on what would have been their 67th Wedding Anniversary. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 E., Alma, Arkansas 72921.

Martha leaves behind her daughter, Linda Siller and husband Erasto of North Richland Hills, Texas; sons, Dale Watkins and Wayne Watkins both of Mulberry; granddaughters, Amber Sanchez and husband Victor and Alyssa Siller; great grandchildren, Loretta, Levi and Lane; sisters, Cheryl Bruce of Zeeland, Michigan, Janice Freitas and Janise Perruquet both of Escalon, California; brothers, David Combs of Lubbock, Texas and Don Trigg of Visalia, California.
