Logan Lanier France

Logan Lanier France, 86, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at his home. He was born January 24, 1939 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Lewis Logan and Glaphyra (Gallagher) France.

Lanier was a graduate of Mountainburg High School and a 1963 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BS in Agriculture, beginning his lifelong career as a rancher. He also was a Marine Reservist.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 22, 2025 at Vaught Cemetery Arbor. Burial will follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Lanier leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Irene (Parker) France; daughters, Lena Christine “Chrissy” English and husband Jerrod of Mountainburg, Lisa Marie Norris and husband Ryan of Alma; and grandchildren, Logan Ray English, Morgan Opal English, Parker Olivia English, Shelby Rayne Norris, Michael Drake Norris and Troy Norris.

Pallbearers will be Jerrod English, Logan English, Morgan English, Ryan Norris, Drake Norris and Shelby Norris. Honorary pallbearers will be Duke Campbell, John Simco, Allen France, Brad Wright, Jimmy Sullivent and Jeff France.

The family will receive visitors after the service on Monday, December 22, 2025 beginning 3:00 PM at the home.
