Linda Carol Reeves

Linda Carol Reeves, 82, of Van Buren, passed away peacefully on Monday December 8, 2025. She was born in Arkansas City, KS. on April 17, 1943 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Robison) Hays. Linda was a devoted Christian and a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Van Buren where she was known as “Momma Linda”.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Reeves; a granddaughter, Kristen Wheeler and grandson, Brayan Haggard.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Whitsett and husband Johnny of Fort Smith and Carol Jones of Dyer; two sons, Ted Jones and wife Shannon of Fort Smith and Loren Jones and wife Lori of Van Buren; a brother, Mike Hays of San Diego, CA; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A family held memorial service will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday December 27, 2025 at Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Van Buren. Linda will be laid to rest at Fort Smith National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangement and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.
