Joy Ann Mayner

Joy Ann Mayner, 85, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025. She was born September 18, 1940 in Chicago to the late Martin and Gertrude (Hildebrant) Forgy. She was a bank teller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon Porter; a daughter, Tina Porter; and a son, Gordon Allen Porter, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Pat Mayner of the home; two daughters, Kelly Porter of Ozark, and Kathleen Kempf of Van Buren; a son, Dean Scott Porter of Fayetteville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Viewing will be from noon until 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
