Jimmy Franklin

Jimmy Dale Franklin, 74, of Fort Smith Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born December 2, 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Raymond Joe Franklin and Ruby Catherine Clark. He was retired from the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by Mary Williams; one brother, Billy Joe Franklin; two sisters, Karen Baird and Sandra Franklin and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Clarence Franklin.

Burial will be at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
