James Clyma

James Clyma, 61, of Poteau, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was born on February 12, 1964 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Wallace Russell and Doris (Kreipke) Clyma. James was in car sales and had worked at Rhodes Chevrolet. He was a member of the NRA and was an avid outdoorsman and was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his two daughters, Miranda Goodrich and her husband Jason of Poteau, OK and Marissa Gilcrease of Bentonville, AR; three sisters, Terry Allen, Sandra Irvin and Nancy Smith and four grandchildren, Jadyn Gilcrease, Delilah Winter and Sky and Zoe Goodrich.

No services are scheduled at this time, Mr. Clyma was cremated under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
