Charles (Charlie) William Kleck, 93 of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Fort Smith. He was born on December 5, 1932, in Morrison Bluff to his parents Joe and Ida (Werner) Kleck. Charlie was a graduate of Subiaco Academy and a veteran of the United States Army. Charlie retired from ArcBest Corporation after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Kiwanis Club, the Knights of Columbus and was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital for over 18 years.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ida Kleck; sisters, Hilda Kleck, Loretta Crawley, Gertrude Houck, Aggie Lensing, Mary Walbe and Agnes Kleck Lensing and brothers, Lawrence Kleck and Wilfred Kleck.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Irene Kleck, a daughter Lori and son Jon; sister JoAnn Lehnen; sister-in-law Mag Kleck; stepson Michael Johns and wife Susan Johns; stepdaughter Janet Barbee and husband Mark Barbee; and grandchildren, Josh Johns and wife Amberlee, Ian Johns, Faith Johns, Jack Johns and wife Alison and Delaney Willcutt; and great granddaughters Norah Johns and Lorelai Johns.

A Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m., on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N. 12th Street in Fort Smith.
