Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives elects new leaders

Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives (AEDCE) proudly announce the election of its 2026 Board of Directors, a dynamic group of leaders representing chambers of commerce and economic development organizations from across the state. The board was elected during AEDCE’s annual member meeting held August 25, 2025, in Rogers, and terms officially commence January 1, 2026.

“AEDCE is fortunate to have a board made up of experienced, committed leaders who understand the evolving needs of Arkansas’ chambers and economic development professionals,” said Candice Lawrence, Executive Director of AEDCE. “This group brings diverse perspectives from across the state, and I look forward to working alongside them as we continue to strengthen our programs, advocacy, and professional development opportunities for our members.”

Newly elected members include:
• Drew Smith, Conductor – First Congressional District
• Tara Cathey, Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce – Second Congressional District
• Jay Sego, Springdale Chamber of Commerce–Third Congressional District
• Jennifer Kline, PCED, Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce – Fourth Congressional District
• Stacy Wilson, CCE, Little Rock Regional Chamber – At Large
• Ron Maloney, Northwest Arkansas Council – At Large

Officers of the 2026 Board of Directors are:
• President: Julie Allen, PCED – Newport Area Chamber of Commerce
• First Vice President: Allison Hestand, PCED, CCE – Paragould Regional Chamber / Economic Development Corp. of Paragould
• Second Vice President: Dr. Megan Selman – Russellville Chamber of Commerce

• Secretary/Treasurer: Leo Cummings III – Conway Area Chamber of Commerce / Conway Development Corporation

Steve Cox, IOM with SafeHaven Security completes his term as board president and will continue serving as Immediate Past President through 2026.
