Alwilda Marie Johns

Alwilda Marie Johns, 95, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born August 31, 1930 in Mountaintop, AR to the late Dewey and Ruby (Hillard) Vaughan. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedarville First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Johns.

She is survived by her daughter, Janie Marie Barker of Van Buren; four grandchildren, Bobby Don Moses, Tina Marie Drost, William Powell Wise, DeAngela Waynette Shavalier; ten great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Cedarville First Baptist Church with interment to follow at the Salem Cemetery in Cedarville, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Charles Shavalier, William Wise, Andrew Moses, Alex Moses, Canyon Shavalier and Kaden Shavalier. Bobby Moses will be an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 05, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
