Zona Marie (Teague) Crabtree of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston. She was born on December 31, 1943, in Charleston to the late Sidney Milligan and Matilda Marie (Ballard) Teague. She was 81 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Crabtree; her parents, Sidney and Marie Teague; a sister, Surennah Scholl; and her brothers, Calvin Teague and Max Teague.

Zona was a 1961 graduate of County Line High School. She was a nurse and started her nursing career at Greenhurst Nursing Center and continued her nursing career at Tyson Foods, where she retired in 2004.

Zona loved her kids and grandkids dearly. She took pride in her house and yard and loved when the family was all together for holidays. Lastly, she loved her dogs Jenni and Forrest, they meant the world to her.

A visitation with family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.

She is survived by a son, Chuck Crabtree and wife Connie of Booneville; her daughters, Leslie Thompson and husband Steve of Tontitown, Betty Kaye Heim and husband Steve of Berryville, Amy Turner and husband Tom of Branch, Lindsay Gage and husband Braeden of Rogers, Shana Brown and husband Bill Aden of Alma, and Leigh Azam and husband Riz Wan of Fort Smith; her sister Betty Wesson and husband Danny of Charleston, her brother Ronnie Teague and wife Linda of Charleston, her sister Linda Gilsinger and husband Nick of Charleston, sister Margaret Blass and Husband Charles of Midwest City, Oklahoma, her sister Janet Denton of Centerton, her grandchildren, Sydney Martin, Crissy Pursley and husband Jay of Pea Ridge, Kirsten Crabtree, Elizabeth Turner, Laney Hawk, Lilly Turner and fiancé Joshua Tilley, Bella Crabtree, Ben Turner, Bella Turner, Jaxon Crabtree, Sutton Gage, Zona Kate Gage, Kameron Guess, Katelin Brown, Madison Brown, Jace Treat, Brooklyn Treat, Carter Guess, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the Greenhurst Nursing Staff for their care given to our parents.
