Sharon Kay Upton

Sharon Kay Upton of Clarksville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Gardenridge, Texas. She was born on May 26, 1953, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to the late Albert Yerton and Maggie (Harvey) Yerton. She was 72 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary Upton; and her brother, Randy Yerton.

Sharon and Gary’s favorite pastime was to go for drives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Chris Upton and wife Jennifer of Bulverde, Texas; a step-son, Rob Upton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a sister, Judy Gregory and husband Larry of Clarksville; a brother, Dale Yerton and wife Evelyn of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and (5) grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 8th at Stillwell Cemetery, located north of Clarksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
