Ritarae Beineman

Ritarae Beineman of Fort Smith, AR, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025. Ritarae was born in Santa Monica, CA, on June 13, 1933, the eldest daughter of Irby and Genevieve Koverman. On February 7, 1959, she was united in marriage to Frederick Weihbrecht Beineman in Anaheim, CA. They enjoyed 38 years of marriage.

Ritarae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother devoted to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone. She was active in the community, serving on the Saint Edward’s Hospital Auxiliary, Girl Scouts of America, League of Women Voters, and the Parent-Teacher Association. Prior to her retirement, she was the office manager at Rogers Avenue Animal Clinic.

Ritarae was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers Edward, Kenneth and Eugene. She is survived by her sister, Charlene Crawford; her daughter, Denise Barton (Frank); three sons, Douglas (Judy), Stephen (Tonya), and Donald (Holly); eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Following the service, the family invites friends to join them in the parishioners’ hall for a luncheon and time of fellowship.

Burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
