Paul Wayne Rye

Paul Wayne Rye, 75, of Uniontown, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025 at his home. He was born May 14, 1950 in Mulberry to the late J.C. and Della (Hayes) Rye. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a poultry farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ruth (Palmer, Connelly) Rye; a son, Jason Wayne Rye; brothers, J.D., Daniel, John, and David Rye; sisters, Rose Mary (Rye) Duncan, and Faye (Rye) Martel; stepchildren, Michael Jerome and Diane Lynn Connelly; and stepson-in-law, Dennis Scott Stricklin.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Linda (Chaffin) Rye; stepchildren, Vincent Lee Connelly and wife Theresa, Margaret Ann (Connelly) Stricklin, and Colleen (Connelly) Coesens and husband Larry; step-grandchildren, Daniel Lee Stricklin (Amber), Sarah Lynn (Stricklin) Bearup, Melissa Beth Stricklin, Monica Diane (Connelly) McCollum (Michael), Forrest Riley Connelly, Katie Ann Marie (Connelly) Leingang (Jacob), Krystina (Cherry) Israel (Jason), and Kevin Cherry. Many great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special nephews, David Rye (Cathleen) and Shane Rye.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
