Patricia Shockley

Patricia Shockley, born on February 27, 1940, in Nowata, Oklahoma, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 85.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura Spies and Meg Jordan; four grandchildren, Madison Spies, Aidan Spies, Nora Jordan, and Layla Jordan; niece, Janet Leach; and nephew, Brad Park.

Patricia was a lifelong learner. She was an avid reader and enjoyed word puzzles. She was also a movie buff. Her commitment to her community was evident through her active membership at Trinity Episcopal Church, where she sang in the choir, attended Sunday School, served as a member of the Vestry, and participated in EFM classes.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, located at 918 North 9th Street, Van Buren, AR 72956, on January 3, 2026, at 10:00 am. Patricia’s final resting place will be the Columbarium at Trinity Episcopal Church.

Patricia will be remembered for her dedication to learning, her love for reading and movies, and her active involvement in her church community.
