Matthew Taylor Vines

Matthew Taylor Vines, 32, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 surrounded by family. He was born August 17, 1993 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Craig and Kim Vines. Matt-Man had a smile that lit up the room and a remarkable amount of strength. He fought a courageous battle his entire life and blessed every heart that he encountered along the way.

Matthew is survived by his parents, Craig and Kim Vines; two brothers, Corey Vines and his wife Ashley, and Aaron Vines both of Fort Smith, AR; a sister, Emily Stubblefield and her husband Braxton of Greenwood, AR; and their daughter Amelia Stubblefield; grandparents, Bill and Hilda Mars of Fort Smith, AR; his aunt, Heather Pettigrew and her husband Scott of Booneville, AR; his uncle, Marshall Vines and his wife Lisa of Hackett, AR and his cousins, Katie and Henry Pettigrew, William Vines and Ashley Davis. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Barbara Jean Vines.

Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service.
