Leland Oliver Edmunson was called home by the Lord on November 24th, 2025. During his final moments, he was surrounded by the love and presence of his family. He was born in 1938 in Coalinga, California to the late Alma and John Edmunson. He is survived by his children: Mary King, Janice Davis, Daniel Edmunson, Susan Bryant, Mickie Opdyke, and Tamara Goodman.

He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with extended family and a lifetime of friends. Leland was a faithful and loyal member of Pentecostal Church. He helped anyone and everyone, always offering a hand whenever it was needed. He was truly a gift from God. A genuine jack of all trades who never hesitated to share his skills or his kindness.

Whether it was needing someone to talk to, or advice on gardening, cars, or life, he was always there for the people he loved. His knowledge and love will continue to be talked about, remembered, and cherished forever. He will be greatly missed.

There will be a Visitation to be held from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A Funeral service will follow at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at The Pentecostal Church, located at 3700 Kelley Highway, Fort Smith Arkansas. Interment will follow after the services at the Fort Smith National Cemetery at 1:00p.m, Tuesday, December 2, 2025. All services are under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
