John Dennis Hunt

John Dennis Hunt, 76, of Hartford, Arkansas graduated to Heaven, Monday, November 10, 2025. He was born July 19, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Orial Antwine and Margaret Vada (Campbell) Hunt. He was a retired educator for Hackett, Hartford and Carlisle School Districts, grade school principal at Hackett and Carlisle and Superintendent for Hartford School District. He was a member of Hartford First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dana Lea Hunt and two daughters, Julia M. Hunt Hearn and husband, Kenneth of Mansfield and Katherine L. Hunt Chisholm of Montague, TX. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Don Stephen Hunt.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, November 14 at Hartford First Baptist Church with burial at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. before the service at the church.
