Jerome “Jerry” Edward Shelby

Jerome Edward Shelby, better known as Jerry, passed away surrounded by his family Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 10, 1954, in Fort Smith to the late Raymond Louis Shelby and Rose Marie (Patton) Shelby. He was 71 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, his twin brother, Thomas Shelby and Gary Shelby.

For 41 years, Jerry worked at Graphic Packaging International in Fort Smith, and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fort Smith.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10th at Creekmore Park in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lorrie (Brown) Shelby; his children, Julie Shelby of Little Rock, Elaine Shelby of Fort Smith, Jason Shelby of Siloam Springs, and Joshua Shelby and wife Bobbi of Mansfield; a sister, Donna Saldana of Milltown; (18) grandchildren; and (6) great-grandchildren.
