Fred “Freddy” Hutson Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the death of Fred Hutson, Jr. (Freddy) aka Derf.

Freddy was one of a kind and lived life marching to the beat of his own drum.

He was smart, funny, an avid reader and an easy conversationalist. He was a great sports fan and appreciated the “pretty beauty” of nature. Some called him the “Squirrel Whisperer”. He loved all genres of music…even fashioning his own stringed instruments for sing alongs with friends.

Over the years, we never knew what facial hair design Freddy would show up with! We had the Foo Man Chu, Waxed Handle Bar Mustache, Pork Chops, and numerous Goatee’s with various configurations. For the last several years it was a full grown beard…his goal was to look like ZZ Top! He made it to Santa Clause!

He is survived by His soul mate of 27 years Maddy and their Cairn Terrier Darthy “DarDar”. Parents Fred and Pat Hutson. His sister Debbie Udouj (John), brother Tim Hutson, sister in law Tracy Hutson, niece Anna Sisson, nephew Alex Hutson along their families and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
