Little Rock-based florist Tipton & Hurst recently opened a 2,500-square-foot store at Village on the Creeks at 5204 Village Parkway, Suite No. 5, in Rogers. Tipton & Hurst Rogers is the family-owned company’s first store in Northwest Arkansas.

Founded in 1886, the state’s longest-operating florist announced in May that it would expand to Northwest Arkansas and open its fifth location. The company declined to disclose the amount it invested in opening the new location. The new store has six employees.

Tipton & Hurst Rogers is accepting floral orders online at www.tiptonhurst.com, and a delivery service is available. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

“Opening in Rogers marks a meaningful milestone for Tipton & Hurst,” said Howard Hurst, president and CEO. “This community has such energy and warmth, and we’re excited to bring the Tipton & Hurst experience to Northwest Arkansas — combining timeless floral design and bridal registry, with an ever-evolving mix of gifts and home accents.”

The new store offers fresh flowers, plants, gifts, home décor, linens, tabletop items, and a gift registry. Available brands include Herend and Juliska and a first-in-Arkansas Simon Pearce collection of handblown glassware and ceramics, the release shows. The store also offers floral and event services for weddings, corporate gatherings and celebrations.

“It’s been wonderful to see how welcoming everyone has been,” said Tiffany Tatibouet, floral manager at Tipton & Hurst Rogers. “We’re thrilled to open our doors and look forward to serving customers—whether they’re celebrating life’s biggest moments or simply brightening an ordinary day.”

A grand opening for the new store is expected to be announced soon. Last year, the company welcomed its fourth generation of leadership, with Josie Hurst joining the business. Tipton & Hurst has more than 100 employees across its locations.
