Donna Marie (Bohannon) Caudle

Donna Marie (Bohannon) Caudle passed peacefully surrounded by her family on October 22, 2025.

Donna was born August 13, 1944, in Oklahoma City, but grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a 1962 graduate of Fort Smith High School. She is a lifetime member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church where she found the 2 great loves of her life; her Savior, Jesus, and her husband, Archie. She met Jesus when she was a child, and she & Archie had their first date when they were 13 years old. They have been joyfully married for 62 years.

Donna and Archie lived a full life raising their son, Chris, and their daughter, Becky. God then blessed them with 6 grandchildren who all carry on their legacy of faith.

Donna spent her early years sewing clothes, cross stitching, crafting, and serving at her church. She spent over 50 years singing soprano in the Grand Family Choir. Her latter years were spent piecing and quilting beautiful quilts that she enjoyed making for others. Every Tuesday and Saturday you would find her laughing and quilting with the Old Rock School House Quilters in Cedarville, AR.

Donna and Archie lived a simple life in the woods of Natural Dam, AR in a house they both built with their own hands. Donna is survived by her husband, Archie of the home; her son, Chris (Kim) Caudle of Tomball, TX; her daughter, Becky (Michael) Corsar of Altus, OK. Grandchildren: Alexandria (25), Evan (22), Aidan (20), Zachary (20), Kaylee (20), and Connor (19).

Her celebration of life will be Tuesday, October 28 at Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Smith at 10:00 a.m. Family visitation will open one hour before the service in The Gathering Place at Grand Avenue Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, Archie humbly requests you make a donation to the Grand Family Choir at Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery immediately following.
