David Owen Maddox

David Owen Maddox, who resided near Greenwood, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was born on September 9, 1954, in Ashland, Kentucky. He was 71 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Earl and Olivia (Bowling) Maddox and a step-son, Gary Landry.

David was a retired taxi driver and served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his daughter, Gloria Sheiner and wife Jaime of South Amboy, New Jersey; a grandson, Travis Sheiner; his sister, Eddy Jane Wells; his longtime friend and companion, Ruby Ray of Greenwood; and five children, James Landry, Cyndie Batchelor, Tommy Landry, and Sandy Ray; (17) grandchildren; and (30) great-grandchildren.
