Billy Lee Self, Jr.

Billy Lee Self, Jr. of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 30, 1955, in Martinez, California, to Billy Lee Self, Sr. and Wilma (Patterson) Self. He was 70 years old.  He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Justin Neves.

Billy was a custodian for Mt. Diablo Unified School District and a member of First Baptist Church in Branch.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Tina (Cunningham) Self; his mother, Wilma Patterson of Sparks, Nevada; two daughters, Billie Dawn Self of Fernley, Nevada and Shauntel Matison of Oakley, California; two sons, Kenny Self and wife Heather and Nick Neves and wife Missie; a sister, Debbie Bartgis of Sparks, Nevada; and (12) grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
