Bill Linch Sr. 75, went to be with the Lord, October 10, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born February 6, 1950 in Tulsa, OK to Archie Lee Linch and Nina Wileen (Holt) Linch.
Bill lived his life for his wife, and family. He loved watching them in their sporting events, whether it be rodeo, basketball, baseball, wrestling, soccer or anything else that they were interested in.
He was an avid golfer. He loved playing in tournaments and was very good at it. He and Trish even played in a lot of couples tournaments, which he always said held some of his best golfing memories.
Bill also had a real love for horses. It seemed like the horses loved him too. He loved watching the kids at rodeos. He also loved buying and training horses.
He also was a Bigfoot fanatic. He always wanted to go on a Bigfoot hunt, and he watched everything that was about finding a Bigfoot that was ever on tv.
Bill loved to Deer hunt with his father, Archie, and enjoyed quail hunting with his father-in-law, Hosea Hefley.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Trish) Hefley Linch, and great granddaughter, Lakyn McReynolds of the home; sons, William Robert Linch Jr. and fiancé Casey of Mena, AR, and Steven Brandon Linch and fiancé Nikki of Siloam Springs, AR; daughters, Tiffany Dawn McReynolds of Mena, and Jami Nicole Hawks and husband Bryan of Vilonia, AR; sisters, Linda Laughlin and Carol Henderson, both of Conway, AR; grandchildren, Taylor and wife Cassidy, Ana and husband Tristan, Nick, Madison and fiancé Mason, Payton, Maci, Brandon and wife Kim, Kayla, Lexie, Courtney and husband Ty, Haylee and fiancé Rowdy, Parker, Bentley; great-grandchildren, Tripp, Baylor, Kinsley, Kennedy, Bo, Banks, Lakyn, Emma, Dayson, Estin, Rustyn; and a host of family and friends.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Gentry Cemetery in Gentry, AR under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
Memorial Service will be 5:00 PM Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, Mena, AR. Both services will be officiated by Reverend Max Deaton.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brandon and Nick Linch, Parker and Bentley Hawks, nephews, Trey and Chris Marley.
