Susie Denise Murphy, 55, of Chester, Arkansas passed away on Monday October 13, 2025. She was born in Van Buren on December 14, 1969. She worked for Keith Smith Hatchery in Natural Dam. She enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Emberton and one sister, Diane Williams.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Emberton of Chester; two sons, Tyler Belcher and husband Michael of Chester and Steven Franklin and wife Tamara of Van Buren; a daughter, Kellsie Clayborn and husband Dillon of Natural Dam; a brother, Roger Emberton of Chester; brother in law, David Williams of Uniontown; five grandchildren, Aiden, Teo, Lakelyn, Kayson and Dakota; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M Monday October 20, 2025 at Crossroads Cowboy Church in Natural Dam with burial to follow at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Lane, David Emerline, Tyler Belcher, Dillon Clayborn, Mike Murphy and Mike Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be David and Aiden Murphy.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 2-4 P.M. on Sunday October 19, 2025 at Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren, 700 Jefferson St.
