Helen Marie Kane, 70, of Central City, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 in her home. She was born January 2, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to George Monroe and June Elizabeth (Talbert) Taylor. She was a homemaker and attended Burnville Baptist Church, where she loved singing with her aunt. Helen read her bible and encouraging words daily. She loved the outdoors and listening to the birds sing. Her happy place was when she was at the beach. Helen also loved the snow, she was known as the snow queen.
She was loved by many and deeply cherished; her memory will live on in the hearts of many. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Kane; two sons, Christopher George Kane of Utah and Michael Vincent Kane and wife, Tosha of Alma; one daughter, Samantha Kane of Central City; one brother, John Taylor and wife, Fran of Jupiter, FL; three grandchildren, Ezra, Declan and Rhen; her uncle and aunt, Grady and Mary Glass of Greenwood and her niece and nephew, Emily Larson and husband, Mike and George Taylor and family. She also had many family members on the east coast that she dearly loved. Helen loved spending time with all her family, including her three dogs and two cats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Taylor.

Well done, my good and faithful servant. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We love you.
A private celebration of life with be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
